The Exumas are the star — a 120-mile chain of cays with swimming pigs at Big Major, the sea caves of Thunderball Grotto, iguanas at Allen's Cay and sandbars that surface only at low tide. Eleuthera and Harbour Island add pink-sand beaches and a barefoot-luxury scene, while the Abacos offer sheltered sailing among colourful loyalist villages. It is winter sun at its most pristine.
