When you send a charter enquiry we collect the details you provide — your name, email address, and the trip information you share (destination, dates, guest numbers, yacht of interest and any message). Our servers also process standard technical data (such as IP address and browser type) needed to deliver and secure the site.

We use your enquiry data solely to respond to you and arrange the charter you asked about — i.e. to take steps at your request prior to, and in the performance of, a possible contract, and on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering enquiries. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.

We use trusted service providers who process data strictly on our instructions: hosting and delivery infrastructure, a database provider for storing enquiries, and an email provider for sending and receiving enquiry correspondence. If you use the AI concierge, your messages are processed by our AI provider to generate replies. Some providers may process data outside your country under appropriate safeguards.

We keep enquiry data only as long as needed to handle your request and any resulting charter relationship, and to meet legal retention obligations, after which it is deleted.

We use strictly necessary technical storage required to run the site (e.g. remembering that you answered our cookie banner). Beyond that, we use two third-party tools that set cookies or similar technology and read/write data on your device:

• Google Analytics 4 — usage analytics (e.g. which pages are visited), operated by Google Ireland Limited.
• Meta Pixel — advertising measurement for our Instagram/Facebook campaigns, operated by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited.

Neither loads, and neither sets a cookie, until you click “Accept” on the cookie banner shown on your first visit. If you click “Decline”, or take no action, only the strictly necessary storage above is used. You can change your choice at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser and reloading the page.

Subject to applicable law (including the EU GDPR and the Swiss FADP), you have the right to access, correct, delete or export your data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority. To exercise any right, email fg@yachtcharterexperts.com.
